Please show off your 1.25ct Cushion or RB!

Hello PS'ers!

I've seen a 1.5ct on my size 6 finger and it's perfect .... but perhaps not perfect for my budget. I think I need to go smaller in order to get my DREAM setting (Tacori 2620).

Do any of you fabulous people feel like showing off your 1.25 RB's or cushions?

This is my 1.25 rb in the Tacori 2639 (round version of 2620). I'm a size 4.5 or 4.75

If you liked the finger coverage of a solitaire at 1.5 carats I think you could even get a 1 carat and put it into the 2620 for similar coverage since it has the halo. Also, another thing to think about is that Tacori will price the setting at what size the center stone is. I think the size cut off from a small setting to a medium setting is at 1.17 carats roughly. If you get a smaller size center under that it will also save you a few hundred on the setting so you can put more of the budget to the diamond.

Wow! Your ring is gorgeous!!!

I tried on a 1ct. with the Tacori 2620 and while it was gorgeous, for some reason it still looked a little smaller than I would have liked on my finger.

Maybe I can put my fingers on a diet.

Here is my 1.291 round brilliant in a shared prong setting. I am size 5 but I like to wear my rings loose so my ering is a size 5.5

Makes me wonder if the Tacori setting I tried on was really with a 1ct. center. Hmm, maybe I need to go back to the store!

Good luck in your search! I think many of us go through the same thing...trying to balance our wants with our budget.

Where did you try the ring on? When I tried rings on at Robbins bros they were all 1/2 carat centers.

I was at a store in the mall. I was so eager to see that setting in person so I went on a local Tacori hunt. He showed me three different sizes -- a 1ct, 1.5ct and a 2.0ct.

I tried them all on with the setting and the 1.5 literally took my breath away. Actually, that's not true ... the 2.0 did as well, but I had to be realistic.
