Please show me your unusually-shaped target rings!

I've been lurking off and on here for over a decade but the time has finally come for me to ask a question of my own!

I'd love to see pictures anyone has of target rings with a round center stone but a non-round halo. I'm particularly interested in round center stones with an oval or kite/diamond shaped halo, but any inspiration would be fantastic! I've looked at previous target ring threads, but I'm sure there are some lovely things I haven't seen yet. Thank you so much!

I have this one saved in my phone. I LOVE the current shape. It’s not an oval but if the gemstones need to be custom cut anyway, I’m sure it can be made into an oval.

Beautiful Emerald and Onyx Ring in 18K White Gold. The Center Diamond is 1.57 Carats, SI2 -SI3 clarity and H-I color. Surrounded by 36 round Diamonds, 16 Emeralds and 8 Cabochon Onyx. The ring is set in 18K gold weighing 4.6 grams. The ring is a size 7.25.

Ooh, that last one before Clover is really getting close to what I want. I'd turn it 45 degrees to get more of a compass points look, elongate it a little more, and maybe add a row of diamonds or some engraving around the outside? Clover is one of my all-time favorite rings and probably my biggest inspiration for this! I'd been thinking about it and saved pictures long before I even met my boyfriend and ever thought about getting engaged!

I'm planning to get a lab AVR and lab rubies for the halo. The budget is $5k, but I'm flexible about the size of the diamond (currently thinking maybe 0.8ct?) so hopefully I can get what I want in that budget with lab stones.

Wow, this one is amazing! I love the scalloped shape of the emeralds. I wanted an oval for years, but I've really fallen in love with the flowery symmetrical facets of an OEC so something that let's me combine that with an overall elongated shape is absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for all your gorgeous suggestions here!

You are very welcome and this one is my absolute favorite after looking at so many lol

I think this would look BEAUTIFUL with a AVR in the center and the petals of the OEC would absolutely complement the scalloped edges.

Please start a thread when you start the project or at least a SMTB thread when it’s completed!
