Please show! Looking at 2 or 2.5 mm e-ring shanks next to a 3mm wedding band?

Hi! I finally got the blessing to re-set my engagement ring as a Christmas gift this year! I''ve got a 1.3 RB in a cathedral setting with pave side diamonds. The shank''s width is about 3mm right now. My wedding band is a 10 stone u-prong ring, also about 3mm in width, to match. The rings take up a lot of space on my finger. I want a setting that allows me to see more of the diamond, so I''m going to go with the Novella from BGD, with a few modifications.

Just to see what they''d look like together, I tried on a 1.2 Novo at Tiffany''s, but found the shank to be really thin. So, I''d like to see what a 2mm or 2.5mm shank looks like next to a 3mm band.
