Hi--

I have a pile of stuff that I wanted to trade in, including my wife's GIA certed ring, for a new stone/setting. Can someone please recommend a trustworthy jeweler in NYC? My cousin recently left the business and I lost my connection.

I would suggest asking IDJ if they would consider your current stone for a trade-in. Also, if you are willing to trek out to Long Island, Good Old Gold

try Circa

I didn't think Circa sold, only bought

We went to good old gold today. I think we did well on the trade-in, but you never know.

I have bought jewelry from him He owns the building at 66 and he has a small booth But he can buy anything from you and make an ything you want. Tell him heidi sent you.

Circa does both I have a good friend their also Lori Wanner......I recently sold them ahigh end bracelet that I want to sell as a whole piece. Again tell Lori Heidi sent you.

Circa and Harvey are around the corner from one another so you can go to both. They only sell high end pieces that they have bought they don't sell like a jewelry store but I do know they have recently invested in retail estabilishments so inquire to Lori

+ 3 my dealings with idj have been very good so far!!

Glad to hear you went to Good Old Gold! For ovals or any fancy cut, no one will give you the info they will on the performance of the stone. So you made an excellent choice!
