Table 55.1
Crown angle 34.29
Pav angle 40.86
Star length 61.2
LGF 77.7
Pav depth 43.19
Crown height 15.3

I have been looking at stars of exquisite stones out of my reach, and they are all in the early to mid 50's. Is this star length ok for the other proportions?
Thank you.

I'm not an expert on this topic, and not may people are...

Howerever;

GIA wouldn't penalize the stone for that combo of star / lgf. I did hear that dtones with ideal crown heights are better suited with around 50 star %. That being said I would just get an IS image and make sure it looks good. I certainly wouldn't discount the diamond based on that.

GOG websitesite offers a line of diamonds with high star percentages and lfg % around 88%, due to their dispay of many small sparkly fashes, and less blocky contrast of white and dark. GOG uses a diamond cutter company that makes these on purpose. A lot of people / employees liked them in their tests. Check out the GOG website they have a video on it, pretty interesting too.
