They do have this stone currently on hold for me. It scores 2.4 on HCA , and cost is around $16200 US.
What do you guys think ? Yay or NaY. . Thanks

Ask for an idealscope image and a gemologists opinion on whether it is eye clean - to my eye in the video it looks "dirty" due to the multiple inclusions scattered all over. Definitely worth further exploration though - even with that really high crown angle.

I usually don't look at "magic weigh" stones b/c the cutter will try their best to make the magic weigh in this case a 2ct stone. IMO ...this stone is cut too deep just to hit the 2ct mark.

will this be better choice than the original one I posted.. also JA said that both of these diamonds are eye-clean. do you guys agree ?

I'd go with the second. You do see a feather at the top, but even with that, it looks so much cleaner than the first with its scattering of carbon. Maybe you won't see the carbon with the naked eye, as the salesman said, but you just know the reflection and sparkle will be affected. 17K for a 2 carat...Keep looking so you have a sound base for comparison, but...it sounds ok to me - anyone else? What do you all think?
