Princess Cut
5/8 c.
Color - H
Clarity - VVS1
Cut - Good
Depth - 61.8%
Table - 74%
Girdle - Thin to Medium
Length/Width Ratio - 1.01

I understand the charts which show the 4 C''s. The only things I am a little confused about are the Depth and Table. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Okay.. I've definitely narrowed it down to either the diamond posted above or this one:

Princess Cut
5/8 c.
Color - E
Clarity - VS2
Cut - Very Good
Depth - 73.8%
Table - 74%
Girdle - Thin to Thick
Length/Width Ratio - 1.01

The first diamond listed is $1776 and the second one listed is $1790.

Do these sound like fair prices?

I have shopped around to jewelry stores and have found below average diamonds at high prices. I haven't, on the other hand, done a lot of shopping around on the internet mostly due to not knowing which sites are most "trust worthy". Buying something like this is a big purchase and I would rather not trust my money (well.. my boyfriends money

) to just anyone. What are some other good loose diamond sites?

You definately need to find out more details about each stone. What you posted is not enough. Try to get a Sarin or OGI, as well as BScope and Idealscope analisys.
Some good sites are dirtcheapdiamonds.com, dbof.com, goodoldgold.com, whiteflash.com and niceice.com.
