Hi all

I''m searching for an e-ring stone and have finally managed to locate one that seems quite ok. Can I have your expert opinions on this?

Size: 1.55
Measurements: 7.41-7.6 x 4.59mm
Colour : G
Clarity: VS2
Cut Grade: Excellent
Polish: Excellent
Symmetry: Excellent
Fluoro: None
Table: 56
Depth: 61.7
Crown angle: 35
Pav angle: 40.8
Cutlet: None
Girdle: Medium
Comments on clarity: Pinpoints are not shown, Surface graining is not shown
This yielded a score of 1.5 on the HCA.

I would love to hear opinions on this before I commit. I''m quite concerned about the surface graining issue. Thanks!

Is this is a round? If so, is the highlighted area a typo?

When it says surface graining not shown, this usually means it is noted for the sake of completeness and is not an issue. The diamond looks potentially very nice, - are there any Idealscope images available?

I just noticed the diameter measurement, you might want to check it????

Sorry Lorelei, the stone is sitting in another continent currently and I don''t have IS images.

It sounds lovely so far. Any way you could get a Sarin report on it, or an IS image?

Thank goodness for that! Knew that had to be wrong!

What cert did it come with?

Just make sure you get a picture at 40x, it's possible for a VS2 to have a table or girdle inclusion that can be seen with the naked eye. Other than that, looks great!

I would also ask them for an IS image.

Hi, thanks for the replies. it''s GIA certified. Will ask them for IS, Sarin and 40X photo.

Good deal!

That''s a very nice size! Don''t forget to post the photos when you get them. We like to drool. LOL
