please help !!!

Since that diamond was certified in 2001, I would ask the owner to have the diamond re-certified by GIA as some grading techniques have changed since then. Also, since it is such a large diamond and a near colorless grade, I would be aware of the strong blue fluorescence as this could make the diamond appear milky/oily. (The larger the diamond and the better the color grade, the more negative impact fluorescence has on the stone, in most cases).

Hm the symmetry is only graded as 'good'.Would be interesting to get all the angles.
Does GIA grade diamonds set? Because I'm not sure the owner would be interested in unsetting her diamond and having it sent off.
*shrugs* although it wouldn't hurt to ask.
I wouldn't be concerned about the fluorescence myself, having the opportunity to inspect.

I would strongly suggest that you review the sites return policy before committing to anything, regardless of how much additional information you are able to receive from the seller. If I understand correctly the sites gemologist will evaluate the stone to see if any of the sellers information was misstated or incorrect, so if you didn't ask the question and the seller didn't mention something then......*shrug* I believe the return policy is credit to the website, you don't actually have a money back guarantee. That's a huge risk IMO and not one I'd consider making. I absolutely would not do this deal with a 12-13 year old report and without a gemological inspection from a gemologist or appraiser that was working for ME.
