Please help with stone selection

I'm in the market for H&A round diamond. My gf is in love with a brian gavin setting (http://www.briangavindiamonds.com/e...pered-classic-style-half-round-platinum-5540p in either plat or rose gold) so I have been focusing on BGD to make the process easier on me. I've narrowed it down to a couple of diamonds, curious what you guys think!

I think unless your lady or you has cultural reasons for higher color and clarity you should drop to I/J Si1 and hit a carat.

HCA is pass fail. Don't use it on BGD signature and blue line stones. HCA is a rough tool for rejection. Brian and AGS have already done that for you.
ASET and idealscope are all you need.

Thank you for your input! My gf doesn't seem interested in a 1ct. She has tried them on and prefers stones around the 3/4ct weight. There are no cultural reasons for certain color/clarity criteria, she has simply said "quality over weight". She has said her minimum is G/VS2 but I could get her something lower and just tell her its those . I have to admit, I've also been picky about what I have been looking at... maybe I need to broaden my horizons in color/clarity

Most women would want over a carat. But if your lady doesn't then by all means, no worries. I think that setting is beautiful. And I absolutely think you should get her what she wants. That's paramount.
