Please help with search for LGD Emerald or Asscher 2.5-3 ct

Hi all! I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. This will be my first step cut project and I don't know where to start! I'm looking for either an emerald or asscher that's about 2.5-3.0 ct, preferably D-G in color, VS1 or higher in clarity, HPHT. I have a budget of about $3000 for the diamond. I am having trouble figuring out what will have good light performance and would really appreciate your input. I was recently offered the following two Emerald cut diamonds:

What are your thoughts? In the "top" image on the certificates, what are the darker parts of the image? Thank you so much for your help!
