Please help with EC Reset

I have an emerald cut diamond that I was planning to reset into a pendant. I''ve come to the conclusion that I really prefer the sparkle of a round or OEC for pendants. So I''ve been hanging onto this EC for quite some time not knowing what to do with it. I happened to come across an antique ring last week and I fell in love with the design. I think it would look great with an EC and rubies on the side.

My EC is 5.65 x 4.45, do you think it''s too small to work in a setting like this?

And, I''m pretty sure this would have to be a custom piece. Any ideas on where to begin looking for someone who can make this setting for me? I am attaching a couple pics of the "inspiration" ring.

Lovely inspiration ring! Brian Gavin maybe. I have not personally dealt with him, but there are many others here who have and he does amazing work whether it''s a contemporary piece or antique style. Good luck!
