Hi Guy''s I know these are not the greatest but which one is best out of them. Perhaps you have some comparables that are better.

eh, not that great. 1 and 2 are not square, and 3 has a huge table.

You aren''t gonna find a nice 1 ct princess for 2K.

Shoot, i figured, but 2k is the max i can because I still have to add 13% to it as I'm in Canada, plus shipping, and brokerage charges. Unless I could go to Buffalo or Niagara Falls and pick it up personally, oh yes and the exchange rate.

What about something like this

Carat: 1.14
Very Good
F
VVS2
$2115.00

GIA
64.80
81.00
Good

You won''t find any fans of that one here.

I am Canadian too. Get a nicely cut ring and stick with your budget. You won''t be sorry.

We can''t judge the quality of a princess cut from the numbers, you can only really judge it from images and things like an ASET. There is also not a set consistent method of grading fancy cuts like Princess diamonds, which makes it harder. *BUT* AGS now does have a cut grading scheme that results in some really great princess diamonds from what I have seen here on PS.

Here is an AGSO princess cut from Whiteflash (I have bought from them from Canada and it is really easy).

Call and ask them if it is eye clean. An H color pricess will look perfectly white, though less white than a colorless diamond. Notice that at .70ct it is the same size face up as the 1.14ct FVVS2 you linked!

Here is one from Good Old Gold, also a really good vendor. Lower color but below budget:

You need to be honest with your budget and buy something that you can realistically afford. There are no deals in the diamond game

You get what you pay for. If you find a 1.14ct diamond F color VVS2 for the same price as a .70ct H SI1, then it is too good to be true and something in the larger stone is sub par.
