but have too much info in my head. I am using the Holloway Cut advisor (inputing the parameters) to get a rating. My question is what is the range of Table and Depth I should be targeting when I am looking at diamonds on line? what is a good range? What is a good table and depth %?Please help!!!!!!

FWIW, I am looking for a 1.00 carat round, good cut, SI1, H diamond.

Included in the tutorial is why you can not simply go by a table and depth ratio to determine the cut quality of a diamond:

The colorful charts that come up on the cut advisor show how cut is affected by crown and pavilion angles of the diamond at different table percentages. This is why you need information included in AGS or sarin reports to fully determine the quality using the cut advisor. Dave Atlas has a DIY cut grading that lists the current ''ideal'' proportions which will give you ranges of diamond dimensions and the corresponding cut grades.
