OK doable. That ring only has a .33 ish center stone, so its fine if the setting is the majority of the budget.

I found a few that have similar design details, at varying degrees of expense, let me know which you like best, and then we can look for the best stone in the remaining budget .....

I have narrowed it down to three..

1. A halo with a twist band some diamonds
2. Criss cross no halo
3. Twist but no halo

Of those three I like one and three best, myself. Let me see what stones would be I your budget

Alright, thanks

i think this would be eye clean for its size. or at least, much cleaner than the .3 diamond the inspiration ring had

in my opinion it would look cool with the last option.

otherwise if youre concerned about clarity, or need the stone cheaper so you can afford the halo there is this

More carats?
What else do I need to look for when selecting the diamond?

no.

one, i dont think a K will look good in that setting. I have a k, but all the stones in the setting are K's. this isnt the case for your ring. The color of a K will be noticeably more tinted than the stones around it. That plus the fact you are choosing a white metal would mean i would not choose that.

the clarity is bad. those black dots will be noticeable on the hand. No reason to have a spotty diamond.

the cut actually is fine. I dont know if you knew what you were searching for when you found that or not, but either way good job there :)

the cut is what makes a diamond sparkle, so this is a very important part.

the carat weight in my opinion doesnt justify sacrificing on color and clarity that much. consider that when you first get it, the size is most noticeable. but regardless of size, eventually everyone gets used to the size of the diamond on your hand. so you get .5 or .7, it wont be the hugest difference in the long run. But the color difference will always be there. so will those spots.

I decided to go with Twist but no halo setting
But, I am still confused about the diamond.

Cool.

So what's confusing you?

The color h, k and so on.
And the carat weight.. .5, .7 and so on
