Hi,

I am looking at this diamond. I understand there is some light leakages which are not ideal. I also found the blue arrows to be confusing. Can anyone comment on the overall diamond?

Thank you in advance!

The ASET is computer generated based on 3D scan of the diamond, which can be reasonably accurate as long as the scan is done right.
It is not the best cut. But it is really good.
Very nice spread at 8.20mm

I say go for it if priced at 18.5k or lower

agree with the above - it looks nice to me, the arrows lined up and really clear for an SI1.

Thank you for your help! I believe it was priced right and I went for it!

Is this a good example where the HCA tool (reporting 1.1 for this diamond) is only an indication of potential light performance, and where the ASET actually results in a weaker performing diamond?

For the academic in me - is this because some of the 57 facets differ greatly than what the numbers report, which I know is only an average?
