Please help me understand the difference btwn these diamonds

As I continue on my search for earrings, I have come across a few potential stones

1. I really like and seems to be a great price. However, it is priced so much lower than seemingly similar stones and I am wondering if there is some sort of flaw I am not seeing to account for this price difference. Any thoughts?

2. This is one that is similar and seems like it would match, but it is almost 2k more. Which again, i don't understand bc they are so similar.

3. Here is an alternative match to number 1. However it is an SI and even though it says eye clean, it looks a lot less clear than the others. Although I don't really know how that would translate to regular magnified circumstances. Would this be a better match to number 1, assuming that 1 is adequate, or is it worth paying the extra for number 2?

Thank you, I have actually read that and am trying to understand a little better about what could be different between these two specific stones (1 and 2), it is clear to me why 3 is cheaper. From what i can see the only difference is the carat weight, however, even with these exponential jumps in price at say .91 up from .89 of almost 2k seems like a lot. My eye is untrained, and I feel like I am missing something in understanding the difference.

If you are a serious shopper and considering a WF ACA, get the first one H 0.89c VS2. NOW (I rarely say this for other people's significant purchase). This is an insane deal. This IS a 0.90c depending on how you do rounding.
Especially with WF, the price difference betwen 0.8x and 0.9x is just astronomical. A Rare opportunity

Nice. You reserved the first one.

The last H SI1 is also a good deal. It also reaches 6.20mm for spread, which is 0.90c's territory, despite being only 0.88c. I just don't like WF's pricing on 0.9x carat stones.

Ask how eye clean the last H SI1 is from a shorter distance than how they normally view. But that should not be an issue if you are considering these two from earrings.

#1 and #3 will make a nice pair.

Also ask the gemologist to inspect these two as a pair for earrings.
Both are ACA with the same color and spread. But it does not hurt to take additional caution.

Nice find btw. Within WF's inventory, 0.85c+ stones are not common and finding two with the same color and spread and cut quality is even more rare.

I found something else.

The clarity grade of this diamond is partly based on clouds that are not shown.

It would be very unusual for clouds in a VS2 to detract from the appearance of a stone, but it is not unheard of.

That .89 is an excellent buy! Diamonds go up a lot at .90-.99 due to being so close to 1 carat. That's why the high .80's are a great buy.

I don't really like the clarity of the .88 SI1 stone. I'd consider either of these two Expert Selection stones that are still AGS Ideal cut as a match.

Ask them for photos of these with the .89 ACA and ask which looks like the best match.
