After a lot of poking around and looking at stones in person and online, I've finally narrowed down what I want. However, I'm still overwhelmed by the selection online so I'm hoping some folks in the PriceScope community can help point me toward a few stones to consider. Here's what I'm looking for:

1.4 - 1.6 carat
G-F color
VS clarity
I'd like to get an excellent (or better) cut, but only to the extent I'd notice with a very discerning unaided eye.

My budget per carat is 8,500 - 9,500, so approximately 13,000 - 15,000 total, depending on carat weight. I'd like to get a very nice, sparkly stone at a good value.

Appreciate the help!!!

Here are a couple from Brian Gavin, neither of which is quite right, I'm afraid:

Only 1.355, but close to your minimum budget, and their best super-super-ideal cut: https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/...ls/1.355-g-vs1-round-diamond-ags-104085720005

Slightly over budget (though they'll probably be having a Black Friday sale if you can wait a little), and "only" super-ideal, but over the magic 1.5ct: https://www.briangavindiamonds.com/...1.510-g-vs2-round-diamond-ags-bl-104087779004 - this one also has fluorescence, but it is guaranteed not to have negative effects on appearance. I actually like fluorescence, but that would be up to you.

I'm sure someone else will find you better matches to your parameters, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling!

Some really nice stones mentioned above, just adding to the pot:

Very nice AGS0 stone. The clarity plot is a mess but the stone definitely looks eye clean and beautiful fat arrows

Love the tiny table and the size for the price is pretty great. Discounted due to the strong fluoro (you'd want to have JA inspect it for any milkiness or haziness)

In order to ensure brilliance and sparkle, the cut will be the most important aspect. In order to narrow the field, go for AGS ideal 000 graded diamonds. Also, with the ideal cuts, you could possibly open up your color grade to H, even I and still have it appear super white. When you have a diamond cut with ideal proportions, returning light correctly, the color is not as apparent as it would be in a poorly cut diamond. :) Happy hunting!
