Please help me - pics of halo's with tapered shanks...

I really need to make a descision about my e-ring redo in the next three days - they will have it finished for my engagement shoot next month.

I have a rectangular radiant stone, putting it in a halo.. I tried on a ring a few weeks ago that had a halo and the shank tapered towards the top - it was thickest at the point next to the halo, not the otherway around.. does anyone have any pics like this? Especially wearing it? I can't remember what it looked like, but i know at the time I loved it... going with a different jeweller, so cant go back and have another try on...

I also have a haloed radiant and it tapers that way, although with a diamond. You can get an idea of what the shape looks like.
