Please help me pick a setting.

I have a 2.06 carat diamond in a setting that I am not sure about. Can you please give me suggestions about a setting or settings which might make this diamond look beautiful. Should I do white gold this time, or stick to yellow gold. Honest opinions appreciated.

oh i could give you a million settings that would make a stone look beautiful. Its nearly limitless. What kind of setting do you like? Solitaire? three stone? Pave? Halo? Colored stone halo? i think youd want to figure that out first.

But as for what color metal, what do you like? Im in LOVE with yellow (and rose) gold, so im partial to that, but its really up to you.

I am interested in doing something that's not just a solitaire setting, because that's what it's in now. As I am sure you noticed, it is in a guard, so the ring can simply be slipped out. I was thinking something with other diamonds in it, but I am not sure what. Do you have suggestions?
