Hello- I have been looking for the particlular ring setting located below on several websites, but have only seen it on 1 repuatable online jeweler so far (james allen or DCD) but am looking to find more online stores or vendors who have it to broaden my search. Has anyone seen this anywhere in their searches or know of someone who has this exact type setting?

Also, the ones I have seen have about 4-5 diamonds on the side that are .05 carats (cost is approx. $1600plat) I am looking to purchase a center stone that is anywhere between 1.2-1.5 carats. Will the point .05 side stones be big enough for a 1.5 center stone carat ring? I was thinking of going to a ring setting with .08-.10, but haven''t seen any like that nor do I know the cost of what it should be. Any input or comments (especially on where to find one!) would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Regards,
A Helpless Romantic

well first I would suggest checking out this thread it has tons of eterntiy/semi eternity wedding sets.

you should also check out Signed Pieces i linked you to a full eterntiy ring but they can cusomize it to half.

here is a pic of Lynn b''s old 1.53 stone. Here wedding band has .05 and her ering are .03''s. you can check out the whole scoop here

Thanks all

Belle- What does it mean that the stones are flush with the band? Isn''t the first photograhs I attached similar? How are they different.

Also- How does this work- Let''s say you buy a diamond from one on-line retailer and you get the ring setting from another on-line retailer? What is the process of having the diamond then set in the ring? Who do you send it out to that you can trust? A local jeweler? Or do you send the ring to where you bought the diamond? Not clearly sure on what to do on this?

oops..sorry for the confusion....i don''t mean that the stones will sit flush...i mean the wedding band will sit flush with the e-ring.

the band in the pics you posted is scalloped and the head of the ring is placed down in the band. when another ring is worn next to it, there wil be a small gap.

if you want the bands to sit "flush" right next to each other, no gap..the head of the ring will have to be raised or higher and in if the sides are flat like the one belle pointed out, they will sit right next to each other nice and neat

I think it''s easiest if you can find the stone and setting at the same vendor. some vendors won''t set stones you didn''t buy from them. You''ll have to do your research to see who will and who won''t. If you buy a stone from vendor A and want a setting from vender b, i suggest having the setting sent to vendor A and having them set their own stone. There are a few local jeweler who may set you stone if you buy the setting from them, but you may find it a bit of a challenge to find someone local to take the rist of setting a stone you didn''t buy from them into a setting you didn''t buy from them. i have heard it has been done, but once again you''ll have to make the phone calls and find out. hope that helps and I didn''t totally confuse you
