I had it appraised and Jewelry shop mentioned that It has an imperfection line on top of diamond but it's a natural stone to me natural stones are unique vs the lab ones.

There is really no way to place a value on this ring without knowing its specifications. I have no idea what the imperfection line is on top of the diamond. What is the clarity of the diamond?

Are you trying to find its replacement value? Or for insurance? Or to sell on the secondary market? Because that’s 2 different things. There’s plenty of stuff like this on FB Marketplace and Craigslist for maybe $1-2000.

Appraisals from jewellery stores are for insurance purposes / to make you feel good but aren’t what it is worth to sell in the secondary market.
A pawnbroker price will be about 50 - 70% of market value so it’s more realistic to obtain that value and go from there.

To me, although not perfect, but it's definitely unique since it's not Lab grown. And Yes, I'm trying to sell it.

I don’t know that unique is the word that I would use to describe a natural diamond. For many, many years natural diamonds were all we had save for some synthetic versions. Best of luck with the sale - what you get will depend upon how much someone is willing to pay for it.

Does it have a gia cert? I'm only asking as selling preloved jewellery is very hard and you won't get anywhere near the appraised value. I once consigned a ring and they would only accept it if I agreed to sell it for 1/3 of the appraised value.

You’ll be lucky if you can get $1-2k for it, like I said. The market’s flooded with this, it has no GIA, princess cuts aren’t popular. It likely won’t be able to sell easily.

But it doesn’t matter what we think. Bring it to people you want to sell to and see what they offer. Whatever they offer will tell you what you can get for it.

Yes, I know that. If it had GIA, the appraisal would have mentioned it. So the rating of G SI2 is likely inflated. There's no proof it's actually G SI2.

Everyone's answering your question. "Worth" is only what people are willing to pay. No piece of paper will describe that for you. Get your offers, and that's how much it's worth. If you get no offers, you also know what it's worth.

Nothing about this ring is unique. It's mass produced from a large corporate jeweler that's all over the country. Just because they're mined stones also isn't unique. Again, go on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace and type in "engagement ring" and see how long the listings have been up for (meaning no one is buying it bc it's way too expensive for what it is or there's no interest at all in what it is), how many times they've dropped in price, etc. and you can get an idea.

Here's one on eBay that's listed as $1600 for example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3869024774...qi5yXxriFrQ3haaPUYWCNMPG1w==|tkp:BFBMiqzY9uBj

This is about the only thing in this industry that hasn't changed, the miserably low prices for 2nd hand jewelry for sellers. I've read all the reasons for this but somehow it seems inadequate to explain it.
Pretty ring. I've been trolling ebay for princesses, but somehow ebay sellers have higher prices for their pre-loved items as well. Maybe they can afford to sit on them.

I'd say between 1300-1600 for it. No gia cert or anything lowers the value, and it's also a massed produced piece. I'd look on ebay for a price guide and then try to sell in that window

I was gonna say you might get $500 for it on eBay! Those comps are all jeweler resellers with history and followers. Random people posting g things for auction get peanuts.

There is a particular problem with pre loved engagement and wedding rings in that next to no one wants a pre loved engagement / wedding ring.
Often times buyers look to “harvest” the diamonds, scrap the gold and get a new ring made but for that they are looking for quality diamonds worth the effort.
This sadly means lesser quality pieces have limited appeal.
The diamond band ring has more appeal but you need to go off scrap weight value and add a tiny bit for the diamonds as they are tiny. Probably $100 - $200 pricing.
The engagement ring unfortunately screams engagement ring and princess cut are unpopular at present. I’d suggest around $750 pricing.
Loupe troop is a free to use platform, eBay charges around 13% in seller fees and without a good seller record it’s more difficult to sell ie lack of buyer confidence.
