Please help me decide pendant setting

Hi everyone, please help me pendant setting.

I can not decide the “open” side should go east/west or north/south?
Which one do you like it more? Any advice is welcome!

Setting will be double claw prong

It is definitely a personal choice, but I would go with the open sides being north-south so that the prongs—in my opinion—are not likely to be noticed immediately.

They do! They also make earring as well! Just ask them, they will custom make for your friend.

It took a while because I sent it back to change the chain.
Originally I choose YG chain but it looked odd on me.

I love how the stone floating on my chest. Chain is adjustable from 16.5”-18”-19”.
