Hello!

I am VERY new to this. My husband and I are looking to "upgrade" my wedding diamond. I like the princess cut and cut quality is very important to me. We think we have narrowed it down to these three diamonds, but we are open to new ideas. I would like to hear your opinions on these diamonds and also why the 1.712 carat is so much less expensive than the 1.525 carat. Is the price worth the compromise?

Any thoughts, opinions, and/or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi lauri and welcome to Pricescope.

I am not a princess expert but I see you chose AGS000 stones which will all be gorgeous. I personally would not go down to a J in a princess shaped stone. They will show color more than rounds and if your sensitive to color it could be bothersome.

I''ll let the princess experts help you further but I don''t see how you could really go wrong with any of them with the AGS grade they''ve got.

The second one is cheaper because it is a lower color grade. I agree with Mrssalvo that I personally would not go with a J colored princess so I prefer the first or third stones.

Thanks to both of you. I didn''t realize the J color would make that much difference. Glad I asked.

i wouldn''t rule out the ''j'' if size is important to you. i have seen a well cut ''j'' color princess from wf and it is really beautiful. as long as you stick with well cut diamonds, keep your options open.

best of luck!
