Please help me choose

Hi,

I am deciding between 2 diamonds:


1)

Carat: 0.528

Color: F

Clarity: VS2

HCA: 1.1 ex-ex-ex-vg

Girdle: 1.0%-1.7%

AGS



2)

Carat: 0.517

color: F

Clarity VS1

HCA: 1.2 ex-ex-vg-vg

Girdke: 1.0%-1.3%

AGS



The second being about USD$160 more than the first



My questions are:



1) Will 0.1 difference in HCA and and extra ex for scintillation matter at all?



2) Is a VS1 worth about 160 bucks more?



3) I am going to set the stone in a 4 or 6 prong tiffany style, will this make option 1 more attractive?

You won't see any visual difference in these two diamonds, so why pay $160 more for the VS1? I'd go with the less expensive one. Either will face up beautifully in a 4- or 6-prong setting, so no worries. Nice finds!

I would get the VS 2/F one. I suspect there will be virtually no differece between them... So I would go w/ the larger & less expensive stone.

Spend less and get a bigger diamond,..... Hummmm..... Both VS. This one is easy. Go bigger!

If it's VS2, I doubt you'll see any flaws. Agreed with the general consensus here...Go bigger and cheaper!
