Hi there!
As I've posted before, I'm long-distance diamond shopping from South Africa! We mine the stuff right here, but for some reason, they send all the best diamonds to the States!
Well, my previous confession says it all: I'm obsessed with BGD's Hearts and Arrows.
My FI has given me a budget of US$1600. It looks like I can afford a really nice solitaire setting from BGD (YAY!) and maybe a .4 or a .5.
Today I stumbled across this from BGD. Does this look like a good diamond from the specs given? Or should I go for a simpler setting and get an H/VS2 for around $1300?
I know I could just ask them, but I'd feel really silly bothering them about what is to them a relatively small purchase... You people over here on PS are a lot more approachable!
