Hi there
I’ve gotten great feedback from this forum - thank you! And I have another question.

I just had a local jeweler reset my mom’s jade. Do you think it looks straight? I feel like it leans to one side. Am I too finicky? Should I ask him to redo?

TIA!

No, it doesn't look straight, but it doesn't look like you are standing straight either.

Is this a fixed pendant, or sliding pendant? If it is fixed, measure the chain on either side of the pendant to make sure they are equal. It should be easy to tell if it was made properly.

If it is a sliding pendant, then it is posture and gravity at work here, and nothing to do with the quality of the pendant/necklace.

Thanks for your opinion. I am standing straight - the photographer was probably a little tilted : ) . It is a sliding pendant. I hung the pendant on a peg and took a picture of it. Looks like the drilled holes are not equi-distant from the center?

In this picture, it does look like something is off.

Edited to say, that it is a beautiful pendant, and I hope it is an easy fix for your jeweler.

Thank you. It’s a small piece but very sentimental. Have a great day
