It looks ok, do you have an ASET image? These are considered more useful in fancy shapes and photos of the actual diamond?Date: 4/21/2008 2:08:45 PM

I have an idealscope image of a diamond I will most likely be purchasing.
Can someone look and tell me what they think?
A small amount of leakage is ok, as it can help with contrast/scintillation. Your stone doesn''t seem to have an abundance of leakage (all fancies have some), so I think it''s worth bringing home. Just have an idependant appraiser take a look to be sure.Date: 4/21/2008 3:26:31 PM

I do not have an ASET...sorry.
However, I understand that the white in the image is light leakage. Is this diamond going to have poor light return or does this look alright?
Ditto, looks great with the pic!!Date: 4/21/2008 3:50:50 PM

I definitely think it''s worth bringing home for a look. So far it looks great!
Princess is measured side to side - it will be about 8.1mm corner to corner if that helps. Also you probably paid a lot less than the same weight col clarity roundDate: 4/23/2008 8:53:40 PM

Thanks everyone for your input! I GOT THE DIAMOND! I will post pictures when I have it set, right now it''s in the little temporary setting that they sent it in. When I opened the box, it sparkled so much and I just couldn''t look away!
Sigh...
StoneOakDan, I know that princesses are smaller, but I just can''t take my eyes off them. I really love the shape! I think it''s worth it, especially because my setting will have lots of stones in a channel setting.
I''m so excited! Thanks for everyones help on here, you have been great!
Ditto and we would LOVE pics!!!!!!!Date: 4/24/2008 8:27:07 AM
