Please help choosing 6- prong setting have to decide soon!

I had been posting on this forum for the last 2 days and your great help helps me guide my decision
I was initially looking at tiffany settings but the price is too steep in my opinion ( i'd rather get nicer stone
Did anyone order regular james allen 6 - prong setting ( not the knife edge )
or the same version from whiteflash ?
I am also looking at two options from bluenile one of which is leaf solitaire
Please help me decide ! My finger size is about 4.5 and diamond is going to be most likely 0.55 ideal cut round

Also I was wondering how does it work if you order ring and diamond separate ? How much on average jewelers charge to put it together ?

Leaf solitaire
If you can find the diamond you want through the vendor, as you would probably would have better protection against the unlikely event of damage to the stone during the setting process.
But, you may wish to look at the stone prior to setting as well, so....

Many vendors will not sell a setting without a stone, also.

Definitely buy the diamond and setting from the same vendor. It will save you some headaches and extra expense.

If I had to choose between the 4 designs, the Leaf Solitaire is a winner for me. It is priced attractively and has a unique design with side diamonds as bonus! My 2 cents....
