The arrows can tell you a lot about the mains.
The hearts mostly tell you about the consistency of the lowers, for example uneven lowers results in uneven hearts.
There can be a lot of variation in the mains angles in a somewhat specific way and still be h&a if the lowers are aligned.
Opposite mains have to be complimentary angles and adjacent mains can not have a huge variation but the overall deviation in the mains can be high.
There are ways to cheat a stone into h&a for example non-flat facets, slightly split facets and small amounts of twist.
