Is this a fire vs. brilliance thing? If so does lower = more fire or more brilliance.

My girlfriend has made very clear

that she wants a brilliant stone because too much color makes the diamond look fake to her, like crystal. Am I correct in thinking that a larger table would produce for brilliance and a smaller one less brilliance? I''m trying to find proportions to narrow down my search. Oh, and of course, she want''s the shine factor (scintillation?) to be 100 on a scale from 1 to 100

If you are shopping online then go for excellent spread and brilliance. Scintillation tends to improve as table size gets smaller, so do not go too big.

Off line get the reddest stone you can with an ideal-scope.
