Hi. I am not going to be much help but...

measurement of the ratio of width to length should fall into width no less than 1.5 of length and no greater than 1.75. Does the stone appear to have a bow tie effect? If so, then the cut is off.

Sorry, don't know anything about pear shaped stones - only round.
