Hi all. I''ve picked out a 1.36ct PRINCESS cut diamond, and I''ve narrowed the setting down to these two platinum settings. Which do you think she''d prefer?

I like the 2nd one...I think the clean lines of it flow nicely with the straight edges of the princess cut diamond.

I like the second one better, too. Sleeker, more elegant.

I have a Mondera cathedral (but in gold) and I love it.

I like the second one. The first one looks better with a round I think and the edge on the second one looks better with a more geometric shape. Very chic.

I may be late, but thought I''d chime in anyway as I LOVE princesses in simple solitare settings. I''m trying to decide between whiteflash''s W prong and the cathedral.

Hi, this is late too. i like #2 also. i have a princess with a tapered band but it''s a lot thinner than #1. i thought this was a good combination of your two choices as i saw many similar settings when i was picking my ring. you can check it out here:
