Nope. Diamond are not a good investment.

Very off square.

Depth and table are too big.

Girdle variation too extreme.

Only good in polish and symm implies not much effort is put into the cutting of the stone. All points to a very bad cut with only the intention of getting over the 2c mark where there is a significant $/carat jump.

Diamonds are not an investment, but perhaps you meant it figuratively

Girdle: Extremely Thin to Very Thick Not good. "Extremely" and "very" anything is bad--especially in a stone with corners.
Finish:
Polish: Good Nothing special about only "good"
Symmetry: Good
Fluorescence: Medium Blue

Diamonds aren't considered good investments. They are too hard to sell when you want to get out of the "investment".

You have good advice already.
But worst of all this stone will probably be damaged in setting or from wear because part of the girdle is too thin and will chip.

"good investment" wasn''t the best choice of words i guess.

hmmmm....
thank you for the advice. the table and depth % was my concern.

what would be a good price range on such a diamond though?

It''s an odd stone to compare anything too because it is a rectangular princess. Most princess cuts are square. Personally I wouldn''t want a princess with an extremely thin corner because I would be afraid it''d chip during setting. Not worth the headache.

This isn''t a great stone Magnolia, definitely off square, table and depth aren''t the best and the girdle could mean the stone is at risk of chipping, you can do better.
