Everyone here has been more than helpful. Thank you so much. Now is the time for me to select a diamond. The setting is coming from James Allen so I have narrowed my search for a diamond to James Allen and Whiteflash. It was just overwhelming looking at all the different sites! My budget for the stone is not very big but I believe its big enough to get a quality stone. I have a budget on the diamond not to exceed $4,800. I am looking for a princess cut in the 1.0 to 1.15 range. She tried on a diamond at a store in town and liked the way it looked on her finger. The diamond measured 5.6mm x 5.6mm So I am trying to find one that measure no less than 5.45mm

This is the setting:

Here a few diamonds that I have run across. What do you think giving my budget and specs?

I am overwhelmed!! LOL!

Your help and opinion is greatly needed
thanks

I love your ring; that is beautiful.

I would probably pick the stone from Whiteflash if it is naked eye clean which I think it would be. The ACA diamonds are gorgeous.

Of the other 3 diamonds, I think they would all be pretty but would worry about the inclusions in F VS2 diamond. I also noticed on the GIA reports some of the polish and symmetry are not excellent.

I can''t wait to see the finished ring.

The H VVS2 is overkill on clarity, plus Symmetry is only good (you want at least VG). So that''s a no.

The H VS1 has a very thin girdle, that''s a definite no no on Princess cuts, so scratch that.

The F VS2 has Good Symmetry also, so another no. (very rarely are inclusions in a VS2 visable/a problem, just for future reference)

So, there you have it, the WF stone is definitely the winner.

I am leaning very heavy towards the WF stone. Did you see any others on James Allen that you liked that is within my budget?

No, I didn''t look at any, besides these you posted. Since you specified it''s a Princess you''re after, I would be inclined to agree that an AGS0 would be the way to go.
