Imagine this. My dear (and very spoiled) friend got, what she calls, "play money" for her birthday. Her husband will rather give her an amount of money instead of buying her a piece himself (which might be clever of him). The budget: around 20'000 USD or so (holy moly!). She is more into contemporary style so won't get an antique or even vintage / preloved piece. But this got me dreaming. What preloved piece would you buy with "play money"?

You’ve got 20k to spend - why not both ear support patches to the rescue! And if all fails, you can use those ear-chains that are so ubiquitous in Indian jewelry (just get a custom design to match, haha). Both design varieties (wrapping around ear and hooking into hair) pictured below:
