I''m looking for some expert information on a 5 stone diamond ring I purchased. The setting markings state 1.0 plat wdc. Since this isn''t a standard marking I''m wondering what it means. I''m assuming, and you know what happens when one assumes, that the 1.0 means that it''s at least 950plat. The ring feels very heavy. In what year did the standard marking become law?
