Platinum rings rubbing.... ??

I have a platinum engagement ring and was wondering if rubbing against a wedding band will be a problem. Is there a bigger or smaller worry about the rubbing as opposed to white gold?

Not much diff plat to plat vs WG to WG of the same carat.

plat will cut through WG like butter
