My new e-ring will be platinum and I REALLY love the thin sapphire and diamond stacking bands from ID jewelry. Do you think white gold would look ok next to platinum?

isnt it going to be a think pave band? i doubt you'd see much metal to compare your bands too

I would want it VERY thin. I don't know what size the band is on the emilya halo that victor is making me, but I think it's less than 2mm? I'd want two stacking bands to wear under it.

i know, what i mean is, you will barely see any metal of the halo setting youre getting. so it will be SO much less noticeable than, say, a solitaire and plain band

oh, ok. Sorry! I get what you are saying.

yeah, personally i think that rings so ridiculously delicate taht you wouldnt notice a difference. BUT why not wait for your ring to come in, pop into a local shop and try a few on, see how you feel.

I agree. Wait for your ring to come in and then search for stacker bands. You definitely don't want anything to take away from your emilya! And I don't know that you'd notice a difference in metal with the e-ring being so thin, so I think you'd be fine there, imo.

good suggestions! I am definitely going to wait. My husband would KILL me if I started asking for anything else right now!

I flip around and wear a variety of bands next to my platinum BGD three stone - and they all seem to play nicely together. The platinum does not seem to be adversely affected and the minimal colour difference isn't noticeable because the band designs distract from the metal.

I have rings in 18K & 14K beside my plat ring.
