Platinum Garden: Van Craeynest 1007

Well folks the 1007 has finally landed. We upgraded the center diamond to GIA 1.62 G VS2 triple ex and had the setting made lower than it is usually. For reference the VC catalogue entry is below.

Larry and the gang were the best to deal with as usual. No request too difficult and happily undertaken. Many thanks also to Love in Bloom whose pictures of 1007 and 1019 made us go in these directions!

I'll drop the pics in a row. Side diamonds are 0.5 ctw, and all similarly stat-ed to the main stone. The platinum carving is very precise and the flowers are nothing short of alive and climbing up towards the center where a single petal acts as another prong. Have a look for yourselves
