Platinum can be resized?

Is there a problem resizing platinum settings with channel or pave sidestones?

Only if the diamonds go all around the band, a la eternity style. Other than that, there *should* be no problems. I''d wait for the experts to chime in before making a final decision though.

It can be a problem sizing these type of set rings up/down in any metal.
The more sizes the ring has to change the bigger the problem,however a qualified goldsmith will manage without too much problem and hopefully will have the stones checked and retightened if needed as part of the service.
Stones set all the way around the ring is another matter though

WOW! I was just thinking of this 5 minutes ago! I am having my e-ring sized to a 4. Sometimes though, it is a 4 1/2. The jeweler never mentioned she could do 4 1/4..I am going to read that article because I have channel-set baguettes and hope I can get my ring resized if it is too small.
