Hi, I''m new to this forum and my BF and I have been searching for a pink stone for my engagement ring. I want something that''s a light to medium peachy-pink. I absolutely love morganite, but we''ve had some troubly finding the cut in a smaller stone. I''m a dancer, so I''m looking for something not overly bulky (1 ct. max). I would prefer a princess or a round cut and I''m also searching for a setting with a low profile. Any help would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

What about spinel. They do come in pastel colors like these two below and are very durable which would be handy for someone who''s very physical.

And of course there is always pink sapphire. This is just an example but this site has tons and they come in every shade of pink.

I know concavegems.com has some pale pink spinel because a fellow PSer posted some of them on this site last week. Maybe I can find the post with the photos.

Medium peachy pink, the first thing I think of is padparadscha sapphire. Since you want a smallish (1ct) stone, you could get best-quality and unheated without breaking the bank. It''s not the right shape but this one is pretty cool, maybe darker than what you are looking for.

I posted the pics in this thread. The spinels are towards the bottom.
