probably just differences in photography. I would pick the AGS one (E), GIA is only 'good' cut

The low pavilion angle on the G will likely cause the stone to go dark up close.

The E looks like a very nice find. I would put it on hold and ask for an Ideal Scope image.

Done - thanks, didn't know they do complimentary scope images.

Pulled the trigger on the 1.022 / E / VS2 / AGS 0 / HCA 1.8; even the JAllen person was head scratching their own price on it...thanks everyone / this site for the assistance and information here. Extremely valuable, literally!

Do you mind if I ask what the price was on it?

Hopefully everything will be resolved positively on Monday, but my order is now going to be double checked by the accounting dept.

Just had my appraiser take a look at the ring that arrived, as far as he can tell nothing was graded soft on the cert. Prior to the arrival, he told me that he thought the stone would for sure be 'white' but that he expected it to be F or G given the price. He's a bit surprised that 2.5 years between cert and sale knocks off 30%+, but props to James Allen for honoring the PS discounted price it was listed at and doing a top notch job on the mounting. It looks perfect and sparkles like mad under the light!

I don't have a macro lens, but I'll try to take some with my 50mm.
