So this is the ring I''m getting for my soon to be fiance. It is 1.05 ct, H color, SI2 clarity. The cut got great, but not perfect numbers from HCA (.9 - 1.5 depending on what numbers you use) and other grading system (1a-1b on gemappraisers.com).

Overall I''m happy with it and the price was decent as well. The setting, which is the sleek lines platinum from Whiteflash is also beautiful but simple and a great value.

I will be proposing in two weeks while on vacation in Florida. She has this thing about the beach at night, so I will do it there. Plus, while in Florida we can visit her grandparents and they''ll get a chance to see the ring...which they have been wanting almost as much as her!!!

I know she will love it, I got enough hints over the years as to what she wants, so this should be perfect. And I think the proposal itseld should be a good enough surprise. I''m excited.
