Hello all diamond lovers!

Thanks so much for this forum, I am learning a lot about diamonds lately (at least I know more than before :)

I have found a beautiful solitaire, 1.8 ct lovely colour and sparkle. No certificate (second hand shop).

I guess that its clarity is what is bringing price down ($4,600) since it has a noticeable scratch (i believe it could be a "feather" for what I have been reading). It is running upwards, in the pavilion (not eye noticeable face up). However the setting exposes most of the ring including the pavilion, so if you tilt the ring you can see the inclusion.

My question is: I have been browsing for photographs of I1, I2 and I3 quality (something to compare against). I am hoping it is I1 and not either of the other two... Can anybody suggest links of specific examples of I1, I2 and I3 feather inclusions?

I don´t mind the scratch because everything else is beautiful, but I mind being ripped off if the ring is not worth their asking price.

They have a refund policy which would give me the chance to get it appraised, but I would like to make a decision as informed as possible to begin with...

Thank you Ruby59, amazing photographs!!

It looks like the scratch in my ring is not so bad after all!! I think it will be an I1 at the worst... :)
