yeah we took it with the flash off but it wouldnt show up in the picture at all.

nice! glad you two love it. I would try again without the flash, in some indirect sunlight (so it is still bright enough, but without the overpowering flash)

Sorry by the time we took pictures it was dark

I did take it in the sun earlier and about went blind haha.
Will take more tom, the stone turns really clear at times and has easily been mistaken as a diamond to most people

I feel your pain. Until I got my new camera, I was so frustrated with my shots. My new camera is great, but I still get those fuzzy shots.

I’d love to see it without the flash. All I see is glare – I can’t see the colour or the cut. If you take it outdoors, shade the stone with your hand to diffuse the strong light.

Set the aqua on a windowsill, cup it with your hand, switch your camera to macro, hold still, and see what happens. We''d love to see your interpretation of Gary''s faceting.
