Are you sure you didn''t just copy and paste those pictures out of Martha Stewart Weddings?

Absolutely stunning, every last piece of it. Congratulations!

Wow - I am so happy everyone likes the photos!! Our photographer has them all up on her website to view now so I will go through them this weekend and maybe post some more.

Newenglandlady - that''s so funny you were in the cave. Isn''t it spectacular? We looked at several venues but I just couldn''t get this one out of my head and I am so glad we had it there (even with all my red rug issues discussed on previous threads).

I did try and make it as beautiful as I could as our guests were coming from out of town and wanted to make it memorable. We made it a 3 day event with a wine tasting tour we paid for on Friday with 25 of our guests (Darioush, Mumm & Castello di Amorosa), had the wedding on Sat. and then did a brunch for guests on Sunday. We capped it off on Sunday night with my two brothers, DH and I going to French Laundry (YUM!!).

It was a long and exhausting weekend planning it all but it went by so quick. I should post the rehearsal dinner pictures - we had it under this vine wrapped pergola in the backyard of the house we rented and we had chocolate dupioni table cloths with white and green flowers and had it catered by this great chef. It was amazing.

WOW emeraldfan, everything looks absolutely amazing!! You and your new husband look stunning together and the pictures DO look like they are straight out of a Martha Stewart mag. I agree with CrownJewel - I am totally jealous of your guests! ;-)Congratulations! And by the way, I can''t believe all the dress drama you went through! I would never have guessed by looking at the pics - you look so happy and amazing in both dresses and I''m glad things worked out in the end!

Holy moly, that was one heck of a wedding!!! As my photographer would say, that was "detail-icious!"

Have you thought about submitting your photos to a wedding magazine?

Just gorgeous!!!!! Congrats

What a lovely wedding! And you were beautiful . . in both dresses!

I''m with Krissie. This was definitely a Knot''s wedding if ever I saw one!

CrownJewel, sunnygirl, Krissie, HollyS - wow, those are amazing compliments that you think it should be in a magazine or on the knot. I had not thought about submitting the photographs before. How would I even go about doing it? I am a member of the knot but never posted my wedding info on there.

As mentioned in my other threads, we were contacted in January by We TV to have our wedding taped for one of their wedding programs. We decided in the end that we didn't want the intrusion of all the cameras for ourselves and our guests on our wedding day. I think we made the right choice as DH and I are not really center of attention people.... but I do love sharing all these wedding photos with my friends at PS. You guys are really making my day with your gracious compliments!!

Congratulations, Emeraldfan! Your wedding was so beautiful, and you and your husband look gorgeous and happy!

Everything is just absolutely gorgeous. Congratulations!

Seriously that''s what I was thinking too.

I love your colors, your venue, all the little details.... so awesome! The pictures are so gorgeous and so was your wedding, wow.

So beautiful! I particularly love the picture of you and your husband in the vineyard. And the peonies. And the centerpieces. And your hairpiece. And the Reem! I bet you feel an overwhelming need to lend me that dress, right?

Really, everything is so beautiful. Those are the kind of wedding pictures that make people want to plan fancy weddings, so they can be just like yours! Congratulations.

Emerald,
We all remember your planning threads, how wonderful to have it all come together! You do look so happy, and that Reem, just amazing. You all don''t look like the weather was getting you down. Sounds like an amazing weekend, just gorgeous.

Thanks Kim N, Addy, and violet!!

I looked at some more pictures this weekend so if you guys want me to post more I will. She really is an amazing photographer.

pjean - the picture of us in the vineyard is one of my favorite shots so I''m glad you think so as well. For flowers, I had, had, had, to have peonies. It''s one of the reasons we planned the wedding in May. I ended up having to pay more for them at the last minute though as supply wasn''t great this year but I think it was definitely worth it. And, I would love to lend you the dress for your wedding. I would just be happy someone got to wear it again. It''s so sad that we only get to wear it one day - I think we should be able to wear it out about town, to the grocery, the mall, etc.

swimmer - we really were so happy that day, I''m glad it came through in the pictures. I didn''t realize that people were following my threads, I''m very flattered that people remember my posts. There have been so many great and gorgeous weddings on here that I feel really lucky to be able to post mine and be included as a PS''er.

Oh - and I wanted to give everyone my vendors.

Letterpress Invitations - http://www.blackpearlpress.com/. From Boston. Loved her work. She was fabulous and everyone raved about the invitations.

Flowers - http://www.lushfloral.com/. Her website is a little dated but her work speaks for itself. Absolutely everything I hoped for.

Cake - http://www.patisserieangelica.com/patisserieangelica.html. Most delicious wedding cake I''ve ever eaten (besides the banana cake from Perfect Endings). We had 40 extra pieces and they were all scooped up by our guests as take-homes. YUM!

Linens - Classic Party Rentals

Headpiece - http://www.suzannemillinery.com/ - In NYC. Amazing hand done headpieces.

Jewelry - http://www.mariaelenaheadpieces.com/ - Florida. This is where I got my earrings and one bracelet I posted. Cuban mother and daughter team, all hand done pieces. I love their work.

Dresses: Reem Acra "Beautiful" and Oscar de la Renta

Calligraphy - www.dreamalittledreamevents.com in SF. She did great work as well and was so nice in doing additional place settings after we had to move around some guests.

You wedding looks fantastic as did the food. The cave was a wondeful idea to have a wedding, so intimate.

Ooooh, i''ve been waiting to see these pictures - what perfection! Looks like a wonderful place for a wedding and you look stunning, in both dresses! congrats!

Everything was so beautiful EmeraldFan! Congratulations!

Hi everyone!! Thanks again for all the compliments on our wedding!! I will post more pictures at some point but I've just been so busy studying for a bar exam right now.

StarbuttsKoffee - I got my Oscar from Neiman's. I ordered it Jan. 19th and rushed it so it could be in by early April, however, as mentioned above, it came in only about 5 days before my wedding on May 17th. I was hoping to find it cheaper at Saks, etc. or from Oscar but there was no price difference so I got it at the store nearest me. It was $10,900 plus $2100 (20% upcharge for ordering size 14 as anything over a 12 is 20% more) plus a $1k rush fee (it was $2k but they charged me half) plus CA tax and then another couple hundred for the extra fabric to make the cap sleeves. Not a cheap dress but I did get a $500 gift card for buying it at Neiman's so that paid for my veil. I honestly thought about selling it to try and recoup the money before the wedding but now decided I love it too much to part with it and not sure what I could sell it for anyway to make it worthwhile. It's a gorgeous dress and worth every penny in MHO. It's all hand sewn and the detail work is amazing. You definitely will not be disappointed if you buy one for your wedding. When is your wedding??
