Pictures from our Napa Wedding

Our photographer just emailed me some wedding photos. I LOVE them and thought I would share a few.

For background our wedding was May 17th and we got married in St. Helena with the reception in Calistoga. It was beautiful. Only complaint was the really crazy heat wave that made it 97 degrees that day (totally unusual weather for Napa Valley this time of year).

Ceremony Cards - loved these as the letterpress ferns matched our invites and favor tags.

Church Door Wreath - loved these. Our florist put white roses and gardenias in to match my bouquet

Church Pew FlowerBalls - these were white carnations with white orchids interspersed. Everyone loved these and when I was giving away the flowers at the end of the night these were what everyone grabbed.

My Bouquet - I showed her a picture of a bouquet I wanted and she did a fanatastic job. It''s all white peonies, roses, and gardenias.

We did champagne in ice buckets tied with the names/table seating as favors.

The long hallway into the wine cave had crevices we filled with candles and flowers

The flowers at the table were pink peonies, roses, ranuculas(sp?) and sweet peas and something else - each were in separate vases.

Cake

Layer 1 - Vanilla Bean cake with raspberry jam and buttercream with raspberry puree on the side

Layer 2 - Almond cake with brandied apricots and blackberry jam with blackberry puree on the side

Layer 3 - Vanilla Bean cake with strawberries soaked in grandmarnier with a strawberry puree on the side (my favorite!!)
