I am still trying to come up with a unique proposal, so I hope I think of something soon. Maybe within a week if I can get my act together...

I knew before my other thread, about the diamond I selected, of what I wanted in cut, for the most part anyways. I wanted the experts here to chime in and they did, the specs looked good. So I pulled the trigger.

You know, in the sunlight this diamond is truly amazing and disco dances with blues, reds, oranges, yellows and greens, along with the side-stones showing all those some colors as well. I feel I made a good decision. What I wanted was one of those diamonds that you notice a table away while at dinner....one of the diamonds, that when you lay eyes on it, you know it is a very very good and brilliant diamond.

I asked for her Fathers approval this past weekend and he approved. Sure looking forward to asking her to marry me.

What are the specs if you don''t mind me asking? Did you get the band and have it set through Blue Nile too? I wish Blue Nile insured the diamond but I can understand why they don''t. Are you going to insure the diamond?
