Picture of e-ring!

My ring is done! As you can see I selected an emerald center stone (non-traditional, but she likes them better than diamonds) and two pear-shaped diamonds on the side. The emerald is a mixed cut, step and brilliant, and sparkles more than any other emerald I''d seen.

So onto the pictures!

Here is a close-up top view. Sorry, about the yellow, it's in a ring box and the background is actually white. The color of the emerald is close, but the side stones are D color, which doesn't show in these pictures!

I wish the pictures weren't so yellow! My digital camera was set to "action" macro mode, I guess there wasn't enough light for it to get true colors.

Here is a picture sent by the maker. The emerald looks blue here, but the picture is a lot truer on the diamonds + platinum setting.

Oh my, an emerald e-ring is definitely different as far as engagement ring goes

Hey GL-

First and foremost, gorgeous ring!!! Second, you might want to check the white balance setting on your camera. If you set it to incandescent (I think that's what you were shooting under, they tend to yellow things a bit), it might show truer colors...
